Router service interruption via overlong WAN password
Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda FH1205 2.0.0.7(775) allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to interrupt router service. The formWanParameterSetting function mishandles an overlong adslPwd value and overwrites its stack buffer. An unauthenticated adjacent-network request is sufficient, and the published impact is limited to loss of availability.
