CVE-2024-32306Public exploit

Router crash via oversized PPW value

Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stack overflow in Tenda AC10U Firmware 15.03.06.49 allows remote attackers to crash the router through a crafted PPW value. In fromWizardHandle, the WANT=2 path passes the attacker-controlled PPW value to decodePwd without bounding it to the decode_pwd array. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and user interaction; the documented consequence is a router crash rather than data access.
