CVE-2024-32299Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via oversized PPW parameter

Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Nov 5, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda FH1203 firmware 2.0.1.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted PPW value. The fromWizardHandle routine processes the attacker-controlled PPW request value without enforcing the destination stack buffer's capacity. Low-privileged access to the router's web interface is required; successful exploitation corrupts process memory and can crash the service or run code.
