Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked page length
Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda W30E firmware 1.0.1.25(633) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via the page parameter. The fromAddressNat handler fails to enforce a length bound before placing the supplied page value in stack storage, so oversized input overwrites adjacent memory. Administrative access to the network management interface is required; exploitation can expose or alter router data and interrupt service.
