SQL injection in edit-task.php in SourceCodester PHP Task Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data. The script incorporates the task_id request parameter into an SQL query without properly escaping or validating its contents. A low-privilege account can submit crafted SQL syntax remotely without user interaction, allowing database reads and changes.
