CVE-2024-32236Public exploit

Physical path disclosure via update endpoint

Published Apr 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Information disclosure in CmsEasy 7.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to read the server's physical path through an update endpoint. Routing /template_admin/admin/update/ through index.php returns the application's physical filesystem path; the faulty code operation is undisclosed. The published CVSS assessment requires low privileges and an adjacent-network position, and the reported consequence is limited to path exposure.
