Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized admin_id
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester PHP Task Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via admin_id. The admin-manage-user.php handler incorporates the externally supplied admin_id value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. A valid low-privilege session is required, and successful injection can read or modify application data or interrupt database-backed operations.
