CVE-2024-32211

Sensitive-information disclosure via weak MD5 hashing

Published May 1, 2024 · Updated Nov 5, 2024

Weak password hashing in LONGINT LoMag Warehouse Management 1.0.20.120 and earlier allows local users to obtain sensitive information. UserClass.cs and Settings.cs apply MD5 hashing to sensitive values, leaving the resulting hashes susceptible to efficient offline password cracking. Low-privileged local access is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of protected information rather than modification or service interruption.
