Admin-level code execution via upload and inclusion
Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Code execution in CmsEasy 7.7.7.9 allows attackers with administrative access to run PHP code via crafted web requests. The swfsave_action method accepts PHP content disguised as an image, while getannounlist_action passes an attacker-controlled annountemplate path to _eval for inclusion. Administrative access is required; exploitation writes an uploaded file and runs its PHP contents with the web server's privileges.
