Membership-level reordering via missing nonce validation
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in Paid Memberships Pro 3.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to reorder membership levels through a forged admin request. The pmpro_update_level_group_order() function accepts the submitted level order and updates it without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a site administrator with an active session to open an attacker-controlled link, and the bounded effect is unauthorized membership-level reordering.
