Unauthenticated browser script execution in victim sessions
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in PineWise WP Google Analytics Events 2.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser. Neither the CNA record nor the upstream 2.8.1 changelog identifies the request parameter, handler, or missing output-encoding operation. Exploitation requires interaction with a crafted request; script runs in the affected site's browser origin and can read or alter data available to that session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
