Code execution via unneutralized exported search formulas
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSV injection in Relevanssi 4.22.1 and earlier and Relevanssi Premium 2.25.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to plant formulas in exports. The log exporter writes attacker-controlled search queries to CSV rows without neutralizing leading spreadsheet formula characters. Logging must be enabled, and code execution requires an administrator to export the search log and open it in spreadsheet software configured to execute the formula.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
