Database disclosure via unprepared Related Episodes query
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in Podlove Podcast Publisher 4.0.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive WordPress database data. The Related Episodes API in includes/api/episodes/related_episodes.php inserts a user-controlled value into a database query without adequate escaping or preparation. Contributor-level access is required, and exploitation can expose database contents and disrupt the affected query path without reported data modification.
