Privileged command execution via crafted CLI requests
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
OS command injection in affected Fortinet FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer releases allows local users to execute commands via crafted CLI requests. Multiple CLI processing paths fail to neutralize OS command elements in crafted requests before passing input to operating-system commands. Exploitation requires a high-privilege local CLI session and grants execution in the appliance context, permitting data access, modification, and service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
