Unauthenticated broker access via JSP-only constraint mapping
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Authentication bypass in Apache ActiveMQ 6.0.0 through 6.1.1 allows remote attackers to access broker management and messages. The default conf/jetty.xml maps its security constraint only to *.jsp, leaving /api/jolokia and /api/message outside the authenticated path. Exploitation requires network reachability to the API web context and permits broker interaction, message access, and destination deletion.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
