Path traversal in bmaltais kohya_ss before 23.1.5 allows remote attackers to perform a limited file write through GUI input. The add_pre_postfix function appends an unchecked caption_file_ext value to each image stem, joins the result to a user-selected folder, and opens the resulting path for writing. Exploitation requires a target folder containing a JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP file; attackers control the extension and content but not the filename.
