CVE-2024-31965Network attack vector

Administrator-only information disclosure via path traversal

Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Path traversal in Mitel 6800 and 6900 Series SIP Phones 6.3 SP3 HF4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data. Mitel attributes the flaw to insufficient input validation but has not disclosed the affected interface, parameter, or path-processing operation. Administrative privileges on a network-reachable phone are required, and exploitation exposes phone-resident sensitive information without reported modification or service interruption.
