Profile-image deletion via unchecked AJAX nonce
Published Apr 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in AyeCode Ltd UsersWP before 1.2.6 allows remote attackers to delete profile images through a crafted request. The remove-profile-image AJAX handler left its nonce check commented out, so a forged request executes in a logged-in victim session. Exploitation requires a logged-in victim to interact with attacker-controlled content; the demonstrated consequence is profile-image deletion.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
