Network-port denial of service via unsafe deserialization

Deserialization in Management Central in IBM i 7.2 through 7.4 allows remote attackers to interrupt network ports with crafted data. Management Central deserializes attacker-controlled data without establishing that the serialized object graph is trusted or safe. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can execute arbitrary code that leaves system network ports unavailable.
