Unauthenticated data access via backslash path traversal

Path traversal in CData Arc before 23.4.8839 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data through the embedded Jetty server. Jetty accepts backslashes in crafted URIs, while Arc servlets process the traversed path without explicit session checks, bypassing web.xml security constraints. The issue requires the Java edition with embedded Jetty and knowledge of a backend endpoint; access to getSettings.rsb exposes settings and enables limited actions.
