Administrator session-token theft via spoofed agent response
Published Apr 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Tiago Rodrigo Lampert CHAOS 5.0.1 allows remote attackers to steal an administrator session token via a spoofed agent callback. The sendCommandHandler path decodes a spoofed agent's command-response bytes and renders them as HTML without neutralizing script markup. The attacker needs an agent JWT obtainable from a generated client; the injected script runs in the panel session and can disclose its cookie.
