Authenticated PHP code execution via path traversal
Published Apr 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
File inclusion in Ecommerce-CodeIgniter-Bootstrap allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through the language editor. getLangFolderForEdit concatenates the editLang query value into a language directory path, recursively finds PHP files, and requires each file without constraining the path. An administrator-level session must first create a ../logs language and place PHP in a log file; inclusion then runs that code.
