Unauthenticated access via trusted authCode parameter
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Authentication bypass in TOTOLINK EX200 firmware 4.0.3c.7646_B20201211 allows remote attackers to create a session without credentials. The Form_Login function trusts the user-controlled authCode URL parameter and directs lighttpd to generate a session when its value equals 1. Attackers must reach the device web interface from an adjacent network; the resulting session grants authenticated management access.
