Unauthenticated device control via exposed management interface
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Nov 19, 2024
Missing authentication in TOTOLINK EX200 firmware 4.0.3c.7646_B20201211 allows remote attackers on the nearby network to control its web interface. The embedded web server exposes the management interface without performing authentication when the device remains in its default state. An attacker connected by Ethernet or to the extender's wireless network can read or change configuration and invoke any interface operation; exposure beyond the nearby network is not established.
