CVE-2024-31811Public exploit

Authenticated command execution via unvalidated language selection

Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024

Command injection in TOTOLINK EX200 Firmware 4.0.3c.7646_B20201211 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands. The setLanguageCfg function in global.so inserts the unvalidated langType value into a shell command that CsteSystem executes. Exploitation requires low privileges and adjacent-network access to the management interface, granting command execution with the service account's permissions.
