CVE-2024-31809Public exploit

Unauthenticated command execution via upgrade filename injection

Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Command injection in TOTOLINK EX200 Firmware 4.0.3c.7646_B20201211 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via FileName. The setUpgradeFW function in upgrade.so treats shell metacharacters in the FileName parameter as command syntax instead of data. An unauthenticated attacker within network reach of the extender's management interface can obtain full control of the appliance.
