Unauthenticated command execution via webWlanIdx injection
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in TOTOLINK EX200 Firmware 4.0.3c.7646_B20201211 allows remote attackers to execute commands via webWlanIdx. The setWebWlanIdx function in wireless.so places the webWlanIdx value into a command context without neutralizing shell metacharacters. An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent network can create files on the appliance and run arbitrary commands with the web service's privileges.
