Payment bypass via forged QR voucher values
Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024
Authentication bypass in DESIGNA ABACUS 18 and earlier allows attackers to obtain parking credit through a crafted QR code. The coupon-validation workflow accepts forged voucher data and trusts attacker-controlled Valor and QTD fields as the credit amount and use count. Submitting the code to a park payment machine lets an attacker increase ticket value, receive discounts, or avoid paying for parking.
