Stored XSS via unescaped search preset names
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
Stored XSS in Concrete CMS before 8.5.16 and 9.0.0 through 9.2.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via search preset names. The file-search preset edit and delete paths insert stored preset names into form fields and status messages without HTML escaping. Administrator access is required to save a malicious filter, and another user must interact with that preset for the script to run in that user's browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
