Browser script execution via unescaped date parameter
Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in MiniCMS 1.11 allows remote attackers to run script in an authenticated administrator's browser via a crafted URL. The mc-admin/page.php endpoint inserts the date query parameter into the response without neutralizing script-closing markup. Exploitation requires an administrator to be logged in and open the crafted address; script execution is confined to that browser session.
