Application crash via unchecked path length

Buffer overflow in waxlab Wax 0.9-3 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash applications through the Lua file-system library. The wax_fs_getcwdname and wax_fs_basename C functions handle the first argument without verifying its length against the PATH_MAX-sized buffer. Exploitation requires a network-facing Lua application to pass an attacker-controlled path longer than PATH_MAX; the demonstrated consequence is process termination.
