CVE-2024-31684Public exploit

Authentication bypass via unbound fingerprint cryptography

Published Jun 3, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Fingerprint authentication flaws in Choice of Love 4.11.3-gms allow physically proximate attackers to bypass the app lock on Android. The app invokes the deprecated FingerprintManager API without a securely bound cryptographic parameter, accepts spoofed authentication callbacks, retains fingerprint access after biometric enrollment changes, and disables fingerprint protection without identity verification. Exploitation requires physical device control or instrumentation access and exposes protected profiles and messages without a valid fingerprint.
