Script execution via unneutralized Search parameter
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Cosmetics and Beauty Product Online Store 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via Search. The products page returns the Search value without neutralizing event-handler markup, so a crafted URL runs JavaScript in a visitor's browser. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a victim to open the crafted search URL; resulting script access is limited to the victim's browser context, including reachable session cookies.
