Session compromise via stored First Name script
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
Stored XSS in Cosmetics and Beauty Product Online Store 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser. The registration handler at classes/Master.php?f=register stores the POSTed firstname value without neutralizing HTML before later rendering it. Account creation is sufficient to plant the payload; execution requires a user, staff member, or administrator to view the affected page, exposing that viewer's accessible session data and page actions.
