Administrator data disclosure via forged script post
Published Jun 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in emlog 2.3 allows remote attackers to expose administrator information through twitter.php. The endpoint accepts an unverified cross-origin POST in the t parameter and stores a script element that loads attacker-controlled JavaScript. An administrator must visit attacker-controlled HTML; its auto-submitted form plants the script, which then runs in the emlog origin and can disclose the administrator cookie and account information.
