Unauthenticated database read and write via item ID
Published Apr 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Computer Laboratory Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data through a crafted item ID. The /admin/item/view_item.php endpoint uses the unsanitized id parameter in a database query, allowing injected SQL commands to execute. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation exposes and alters database contents without interrupting service.
