Published Apr 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
Privilege escalation in Yubico YubiKey Manager GUI before 1.2.6 allows local users to execute browser actions as Administrator on Windows. The GUI spawns the system default browser as a child without preventing that child from retaining Administrator privileges. Reachability requires user interaction with an elevated GUI and a default browser without Edge's mitigation.
