Site-map overwrite via tokenless cross-origin request
Published Apr 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in DedeCMS 5.7 allows remote attackers to regenerate site maps through an authenticated administrator's browser. The makehtml_map.php endpoint accepts a cross-origin dopost=site submission without a request token and writes the generated site-map file. An administrator must interact with attacker-controlled content while signed in, and the resulting action is limited to site-map regeneration.
