Path traversal in AUTOMATIC1111 Stable Diffusion WebUI 1.8.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write JSON files on Windows. The Backup/Restore tab passes config_save_name to save_config_state, which joins the unsanitized name to the backup directory and opens the resulting path for writing. Access to the web interface is required, and successful exploitation writes server-generated JSON anywhere permitted by the service account.
