Authenticated source overwrite via traversable plugin name
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Code injection in flipped-aurora gin-vue-admin 2.6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to overwrite backend Go source files. AutoPlug passes the attacker-controlled PlugName value to CreatePlug without rejecting path separators, so traversal sequences redirect generated plugin folders and files outside their intended directory. Access to the authenticated Plugin Template endpoint is required; modified source can alter application logic or interrupt service after it is built or run.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
