CVE-2024-31445Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unquoted graph filter

Published May 13, 2024 · Updated Dec 16, 2025

SQL injection in Cacti before 1.2.27 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges and execute code through the Automation API. The automation_get_new_graphs_sql path passes the unsanitized filter request into build_graph_object_sql_having, which concatenates it into a LIKE clause instead of quoting it as data. A low-privileged account can reach the graph-rule endpoint and alter database queries, enabling privilege escalation and server-side code execution.
