Stored XSS via unescaped schedule label class

Published May 22, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024

Stored XSS in the schedule label settings of Appleple a-blog cms allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another editor's browser. The label settings store an attacker-controlled class value, and Labels.php passes it to edit-label.html for direct insertion into an input value attribute. Editor privileges and schedule-edit permission are required, and execution occurs only when another editor or administrator opens the label settings page.
