Authenticated PHP execution via Code Block rendering
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Code injection in Soflyy Breakdance 1.7.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP through the page builder. The breakdance_server_side_render handler passes attacker-controlled parentProperties to the Code Block SSR path, whose ssr.php builds a string from php_code and executes it with eval. Exploitation requires an account previously granted the optional Edit Content Interface Only permission; Soflyy states that this access is off by default and PHP execution is intended behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
