Notice dismissal via missing AJAX nonce validation
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Creative Themes Blocksy 2.0.22 and earlier allows remote attackers to dismiss administrative notices. The wp_ajax_blocksy_notice_button_click action accepts a state-changing request without valid nonce verification, allowing forged browser requests to invoke notice dismissal. User interaction is required: a privileged authenticated administrator must open attacker-controlled content, and the reported effect is limited to dismissing notices.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
