Authenticated PHP execution via unchecked Edit Only access
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Code injection in Soflyy Oxygen Builder 4.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with builder access to execute arbitrary PHP code. The wp_ajax_ct_exec_code handler passes a base64-decoded request code value directly to eval after oxygen_vsb_current_user_can_access accepts Edit Only mode. An account granted Client Control builder access, including Edit Only access, can take over the WordPress site and underlying server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=4.8.2
