Logging disablement via missing nonce validation
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in AppPresser through 4.3.0 allows remote attackers to disable plugin logging via a forged request. The force_logging_off() function fails to validate a WordPress nonce before changing the logging setting. Exploitation requires an administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or otherwise submit the request, and the demonstrated consequence is limited to disabling AppPresser logging.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
