Unauthenticated code execution via traversable template path
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in StylemixThemes MasterStudy LMS 3.3.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to include server files via a crafted template parameter. STM_LMS_Templates::locate_template appends the parameter to a plugin template path without blocking traversal, and load_lms_template passes the resolved file to PHP include. Exploitation requires a usable local file; uploaded files containing PHP yield code execution, while other included files can expose sensitive data or bypass access controls.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
