Logic error in Android 12, 12L, 13, and 14 allows local users to escalate privileges by hiding a service from the Settings interface. The setMimeGroup method in PackageManagerService.java mishandles MIME-group state and allows the affected service to disappear from Settings. Exploitation requires User execution privileges and user interaction; the resulting concealed service enables local privilege escalation.
