Database disclosure via save_category SQL injection
Published Apr 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Computer Laboratory Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The proof of concept supplies an EXTRACTVALUE expression in the id form field to the save_category handler, which fails to neutralize it before database use. A logged-in staff session is required; successful exploitation exposes database information through MySQL error output.
