Service interruption via unbounded HTTP/2 CONTINUATION frames

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Apache Traffic Server 8.0.0 through 8.1.9 and 9.0.0 through 9.2.3 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Http2ConnectionState::rcv_continuation_frame accepts an unbounded rate of CONTINUATION frames per stream instead of counting and rejecting excess frames. Any remote client that can establish an HTTP/2 connection can drive repeated frame processing and consume server resources, degrading or interrupting proxy service.
